Stuffed capsicum ring


Ingredients :

- 2 Capsicum
- 2 3 Potato
- Salt
- Chat masalo
- Ajwain
- Amchur powder
- Turmeric (turmeric) powder
- Mirch powder

Method:

- Boil potatoes, mash them and add all masala
- Cut capsicum in rings
- Fill the stiffing in those rings and make tikki on pan

Tip: Tomato ring can be made in the same way.Just use tomatoes instead of capsicum.

Fruit Punch (Appitizer)




Ingredients :

2 cups water
2 cups sugar
4 sticks cinnamon
1 tablespoon whole cloves

Method :

- Mix all the above ingredients on low heat and then boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove whole cloves and let it cool for few mins.
- Deep freeze the mixture in a bowl.

Before serving :

- Put the frozen stuff in a punch bowl and add the following ingredients :
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 3 1/2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 table spoon fresh Ginger juice (Optional)
- 750 ml Sprite or 7up

Tip : You can set up the punch 30-45 min. before guests arrive; it will take a while to thaw. Don't use regular ice to keep it cold -- that will dilute it. You can us tulsi leavs or mint leaves for garnishing.



serves 10 persons.

Veggie Cheese Burger


Ingredients :

For Tikki (makes 4-5 tikkis):
2 potatoes
1 carrot
Green peas
few French beans (fansi)
bread crumbs
2 bread slices
garam masala powder
chat masala powder
salt to taste
pinch of sugar
turmeric powder
coriender-jira powder (dhanajiru)

For Salad :
grated cabbage
grated carrot
grated capsicum
onions (round cut)
tomatoes (round cut)
cucumber (round cut)

For Chutney :
Groundnuts
green chilli
lemon juice
turmeric powder
salt to taste

For Burger :
burger buns
cheese slices

Method :

Tikki :

- Steam boil potatoes,carrot,green peas and french beans.
- mash this boiled vegetables along with 2 bread slices.
- add turmeric powder, coriender powder, chat masala powder, garam masala powder, salt to taste, pinch of sugar
- make round shaped tikkis
- take a pan and put few drops of oil. now dip the tikki in bread crumb and put it on pan and cook till it becomes crispy.

Burger :

- Add chutney, tikki, cheese slice,tomatos, cucumber, onions, cabbage and chat masala.
- Apply ghee or butter and cook burger on pan for 2 3 mins and enjoy.

Tip : If the mashed vegetables for tikki becomes soggy, add poha so that you can get the desired shape
