Ingredients : 2 cups water 2 cups sugar 4 sticks cinnamon 1 tablespoon whole cloves Method : - Mix all the above ingredients on low heat and then boil for 5 minutes. - Remove whole cloves and let it cool for few mins. - Deep freeze the mixture in a bowl. Before serving : - Put the frozen stuff in a punch bowl and add the following ingredients : - 2 cups pineapple juice - 3 1/2 cups orange juice - 1 cup lemon juice - 1 table spoon fresh Ginger juice (Optional) - 750 ml Sprite or 7up Tip : You can set up the punch 30-45 min. before guests arrive; it will take a while to thaw. Don't use regular ice to keep it cold -- that will dilute it. You can us tulsi leavs or mint leaves for garnishing. serves 10 persons. |
